Chadwick Boseman, la star di Hollywood che ha interpretato vari film di successo tra cui il più famoso è senz’altro «Black Panther» nel franchise cinematografico della Marvel, è morto venerdì di cancro. Aveva 43 anni.

Boseman è morto nella sua casa di Los Angeles con la moglie e la famiglia vicino a sè: lo ha riferito il suo agente Nicki Fioravante. In un comunicato, la famiglia ha reso noto che, quattro anni fa, all’attore era stato diagnosticato un tumore al colon.

Boseman non aveva mai parlato pubblicamente delle sue condizioni di salute e aveva continuato a girare sui set dei principali film di Hollywood mentre era sottoposto a “innumerevoli operazioni e cicli di chemioterapia”, ha aggiunto la sua famiglia. “Era un vero combattente. Chadwick ha tenuto duro in tutto questo”, hanno aggiunto i familiari nella dichiarazione.
